Charlesworth Reserve

Aim: is to plant over hundreds of plants for our environment.

Yesterday the year 7 & 8s went on to and adventure to Charlesworth Reserve and we went gardening their. When we arrived we had morning tea and waited for our instructor to give us instructions on what to do when we get to the area that we are going to be planting. We went their because we have been doing hard work at our school and this was like a reward for all of us. Here is what we have been doing.

We found lots of mud crabs their too.

This is the history of Charlesworth Reserve:

William's main piece of land sat alongside Ferry Road and was known as Saxon Farm.
The beautiful 14 roomed homestead that was accompanied by stables, a coal house and 6 acres of English grass was known as the Saxon Villa.
The Saxon Villa is not their any more as it has broken down and has became
an empty area full of mud.

After the trip to Charlseworth reserve we went to the back of mitre 10 and cleaned the area we had bags and bags full of rubbish and the people will be happy now that we have done that and a huge thanks to "Andrew"
