Robotics

Over the last 10 weeks in Robotics. I have been learning to programme the EV3's to move.
First I learnt to make the robot go forward on a straight, left and right. I was with Quaiden, Jovarn and Evan.

This week the Robotics people have been playing around with the robot and we had to get it to go straight, left. Here are some photos of what we did.

Baby Elephant

“Good morning, said Bob. “Can I have some breakfast”.

“Shaw honey, said dad. “What do you want?”

“Mmmmmmmmmmm, elephant puffs!” shouted Bob”.

“Yeah okayyyyy!” dad shouted from the lounge.

Then they went outside and visited there friends. “Ok, there are birds” roared Bob. Then Bob went closer and close to the birds. “I’m going to get you!”, yelled Bob.

“Them come and get me” said georgie “awwwwwwwwwwww don’t get me awwwwwwwww”

“Awwwwwwwwwwww mummy I’m hurt, said Bob. “wa waaaaaa!”

“HA SHAMEEEEE!” yelled the birds.

“M-m-mummy th-those birds are m-m-mean” cried Bob.

“Oh Bob that was not nice from those birds weren’t they” said dad.

“Th-th-thanks daddy” said Bob.

“That’s okay” whispered.

Spencer park story

Last week me and the Seniors went on a special journey too...
Spencer park the one and only cool place for lots of picnics, play time and adventures.
First we were at our school and we got our selves ready...
eventually we were all ready and lined up but there were 3 people with no hats.
Second we went in the bus and we disappeared onto the road.
We had lunch when we got there and then we got to play.
I started playing on the web then I played tennis and this is a photo of me and some other people playing tennis:

That is me playing the unbelievable tennis in the world.

Ban plastic bags

WALT: Write a strong persuasive argument

Do you think we should ban plastic bags?

I think yes because they are poisonous and turtles like to eat jellyfish and plastic bags look like jelly fish if
you were a turtle.

You should ban plastic bags because it is effective to kill animals, so we can use fabric bags for
supermarkets.

All supermarkets should not use bags because if you eat seafood the sea creatures can
eat plastic bags and if you eat seafood then the plastic is in your food chain and, sea animals
food chain too.

You can use fabric bags and give it to all countries supermarket. You can use the fabric
bags over and over again so you don't need to throw them out and lets sea animals die.
It will not be for putting in the bin and it won't ruin animals life, It is much safer than
the plastic bags isn’t it?

Please never use plastic bags ever again in our life because plastic bags are very poisonous
and has a lot of chemicals in the bag. I think we should not have plastic bags any more in the world.

Reading

Did you know that John Hyatt was the second person that made something out of plastic
and it is ping pong balls. The plastic that was made to create ping pong balls is called celluloid.

Alexander parkes has the first one to create plastic which he called parkesine.

A 19 year old boy he is dutch and he prevented a trap for plastic and rubbish.
